Having more style options in Fallout 76 is never a bad thing. While sought after, the Imposter sheepsquatch outfit is also one of the more elusive garnments that players can equip over the armor.
But how can you get the Imposter sheepsquatch outfit in Fallout 76? It’s not exactly impossible, although it does require patience. Here’s everything we know about it.
Fallout 76 Imposter Sheepsquatch Outfit
The main way of obtaining the Imposter sheepsquatch outfit in Fallout 76 is by completing the Encryptid event. Both the outfit and the helmet are rare drops, so it’s safe to expect you’ll need to run it a couple of times before you’ll see either one.
The Encryptid event tasks players with destroying a modified Assaultron (the imposter sheepsquatch itself) and its hordes of murderous robots. You’ll need an assaultron recall keycard to start the event. The imposter sheepsquatch will be a three star legendary enemy that’s also invisible and invulnerable until you activate the three nearby pylons.
Activating a pylon does, however, continuously damage the player that did so. The fight boils down to coordinating who activates the pylons and taking down the imposter sheepsquatch before players run out of health.
The other, quicker but also more costly way of getting an imposter sheepsquatch outfit is by purchasing it from one of the luckier Fallout 76 players. Bring your negotiation skills if you choose to do so.
