Fallout 76’s Scrip Surplus weekend event is a new addition to the online title’s 2021 calendar that seeks to make exchanging your unwanted legendaries for scrip more rewarding. If you’ve spent some time around Appalachia, you’ve likely felt the joy of getting those legendaries that fit your current build but also the disappointment of having ones you’ll never use take up inventory space.
The introduction of legendary exchange machines made the latter more useful by allowing players to convert them into a new currency, legendary scrip, and Fallout 76 Scrip Surplus weekend events are when you can truly cash out. Read on below for the 2021 schedule.
Legendary exchange machines can be found in train stations spread across Appalachia. By default, they let you exchange unwanted legendaries up to a daily cap of 150 legendary scrip per character.
During Fallout 76’s Scrip Surplus weekend events, that daily cap is doubled, reaching 300. The 2021 schedule below reflects the events we’re currently aware of. We’ll update this list as Bethesda announces more.
