Fallout 76 Season 2 is now live, refreshing the set of available rewards while bringing some more changes to the daily and weekly quests that players can complete as they survive Appalachia’s many dangers.
Like its predecessor, Fallout 76 Season 2 offers an account-wide progression track filled with rewards available at no cost to all players. Its start and end dates will be separated by a period of 10 weeks, during which players can obtain S.C.O.R.E to move forward on the new Armor Ace board.
Each completed rank thematically helps “Armor Ace and the Power Patrol in their march of freedom against the dreaded Subjugator and his army of Red Viper minions” while earning you new rewards.
Fallout 76 Season 2 Start and End Date
Bethesda has scheduled Fallout 76 Season 2’s start date for September 15 – at the same time as when Update 22 releases – and one week after the conclusion of Season 1.
Using the expected 10-week length, we can approximate the Fallout 76 Season 2 end date:
- Fallout 76 Season 2 Start Date - September 15, 2020
- Fallout 76 Season 2 End Date - November 24, 2020
Fallout 76 Season 2 Changes
Fallout 76 Season 2 will do a couple of things differently than its predecessor. To start with, players will be able to purchase ranks using Atoms from day one, instead of having to wait until two weeks into the season.
Some of Season 1’s rewards – including Lunchboxes, the Ammo Converter, and the Chicken Coop – will be added to Gold Bullion vendors, giving players who missed them the first time around another chance at grabbing these goodies.
New Daily and Weekly quests will add more variety, some making their way to the Challenge lineup, offering players a higher amount of flexibility in terms of ranking up.
Lastly, although not quite a change, Season 2 will continue to feature several Double S.C.O.R.E events, during which players can rank up faster.
