Far Cry 6 puts players in the role of guerilla fighters taking the fight to Antón Castillo, ruthless dictator of the island of Yara. Although the series isn’t known for its multiplayer, plenty of players are wondering whether or not crossplay will be available at launch.
Far Cry 6 cross-platform support would at least allow players to tackle its campaign in co-op alongside their peers who own the game on different platforms. The title emphasizes the use of makeshift weaponry that can cause a surprising amount of chaos, and sharing that experience with a pal would be pretty damn awesome. Let’s see how things look.
Far Cry 6 Crossplay
Sadly, it doesn’t look like Far Cry 6 crossplay will be one of the first-person shooter’s launch features, at least going by what we know so far.
Ubisoft hasn’t mentioned the feature in official communications prior to launch, despite frequent questions from the community. Although it could surprise players by silently including it at launch, that seems rather unlikely.
Whether or not Far Cry 6 will get cross-platform support after it releases remains to be seen, although it is worth noting that the feature hasn’t made its way into the series’ recent entries.
We’ll keep an eye out and update this article as soon as we learn anything new about Far Cry 6 crossplay.
