Publisher and developer Fatshark today reassured fans that it plans to “remain committed to Vermintide 2” following yesterday’s announcement of its upcoming game, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide.
Warhammer: Vermintide 2 development will continue alongside Darktide, with both a major DLC titled Chaos Wastes and a new premium career being worked on.
“We are looking forward to the continuous development of Vermintide 2, and the next major DLC update coming is Warhammer: Vermintide 2 - Chaos Wastes. We are also already working on the next career following the positive reception of the Grail Knight… and of course, so much more that we are not ready to announce.”, the developer wrote in a Steam post.

Warhammer 40,000 Darktide was announced during yesterday’s Xbox Games Showcase, being the first 40K game in Fatshark’s portfolio.
In it, players step into the shoes of members belonging to an Imperial Guard scout squad sent to investigate and destroy the Chaos forces in the hive city of Tertium.
