Publisher and developer Fatshark has responded to a series of recent backend error reports from Warhammer 40,000: Darktide players, assuring them that it is working on addressing the issues currently stopping them from logging in.
A stream of Warhammer 40,000: Darktide’s backend error reports started popping up across Reddit and Steam Discussions a couple of hours ago, with players noting that they were unable to play the game as they normally would.
Warhammer 40,000: Darktide Backend Error Reports
“We’re investigating an outage tied to our login service that is preventing players from signing into the game. We will get back to you with an update once we have fixed the issue,” a tweet from Darktide’s official comms account reads.
In the hours since the above response went live, the developer has been working on addressing the Darktide backend error and has, thankfully, made some progress.
“The login service is coming back online,” a more recent tweet reads. “Some players may still encounter troubles logging in whilst the fixes roll out. We will update once we’re confident the service is back to full capacity.”
It hopefully won’t be too long before everyone can hop back in and resume smashing heretics to bits while collecting shiny new loot for their characters.
