FFXIV’s Valentione’s Day 2023 event keeps players busy as February starts, bringing with it new rewards to chase. Its start and end dates now revealed, it should provide a welcome distraction from Endwalker’s patch 6.3 content.
Titled “To Thine Own Love Be True”, Final Fantasy 14’s Valentione’s Day 2023 event plays rather familiarly if you’ve participated in any of its prior iterations.

Final Fantasy 14’s Valentione’s Day 2023 event has locked down its start date to February 1 at 12 AM PT/3 AM ET/8 AM GMT. Its end date is then slated to occur on February 15 at 6:59 AM PT/9:59 AM ET/2:59 PM GMT, giving players precisely two weeks to claim its new rewards.

To participate in FFXIV’s Valentione’s Day 2023 event, you’ll first want to make sure that your character has reached level 15 and completed the quest called It’s Probably Pirates.
You’ll then want to find an NPC called Lisette de Valentione, who waits for you in Old Gridania.
Head to coordinates X:10.2, Y:9.4 and talk to her in order to pick up the quest called “Suited for Affection,” which you’ll then need to complete.
Doing so rewards you with two new gear sets – the Vested Emissary’s attire for male characters and the Frilled Emissary’s Attire for female characters. Each of them is made up of four individual pieces of clothing that give characters a more casual yet still stylish look.
The Eat Chocolate emote and Valentione’s Heart Desk table item also count among this year’s rewards.
As is the case with most of the MMORPG’s events, items from previous years will also be available at certain vendors, which is especially great if you’ve only recently started playing. You can take a look at all that’s new over on the event’s special website.
