Final Fantasy 14’s patch 6.35 is now live, its patch notes revealing the addition of a new swathe of content that should keep us busy over the coming months, including the Eureka Orthos deep dungeon and more.
FFXIV’s patch 6.35 counts among the MMORPG’s smaller updates, bridging the gap between patch 6.3 and the highly anticipated patch 6.4. That, however, shouldn’t make you underestimate the amount of content it introduces.
Final Fantasy XIV Patch 6.35 Notes
FFXIV’s patch 6.35 notes reveal the addition of a new side quest available for all players who have reached the conclusion of the Endwalker main scenario quest.
It leads to the Eureka Orthos deep dungeon, which the developer describes as “an ever-changing dungeon whose architecture is never quite the same each time players enter the facility.”
The first 30 floors of the dungeon gradually reveal more if its story. Those that follow them are meant to challenge your abilities.
As you progress, you can find protomanders in treasure chests, whose effects range from granting your party buffs to revealing the map. Tomestones also found in treasure chests allow you to summon demiclones pets that aid you in battle.
Exploring the dungeon can get you a hefty amount of different types of tomestones alongside Orthos aetherpool weapons.
FFXIV’s patch 6.35 also introduces Loporrit tribal quests for anyone who’s beaten Endwalker, giving us a new currency to grind and more items to unlock.
In addition, Hildibrand fans have a new series of quests to go through, continuing the character’s lengthy adventures.
On the cosmetic side of things, we have new hairstyles, emotes, mounts, and Chocobo bardings to look forward to.
You can check out all that’s new in Final Fantasy 14’s patch 6.35 by giving the official patch notes a read over on the update’s dedicated special site.
