Is Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth going to be released for the PC in the future? It’s only available on PlayStation 5 right now, but once the exclusivity period is over we should see it release on PC.
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth represents the second installment of the trilogy that reenvisions the celebrated RPG from the original PlayStation Era. This chapter allows Cloud and his allies to explore territories beyond Midgar, sparking curiosity about the potential for a Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth PC Release Date.
Aside from the obvious argument of allowing a whole new audience to experience the trilogy’s second part, a Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth PC release date would also make sense, considering how the original remake made its way to the platform eventually.
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth PC Release Date
At the moment, Square Enix hasn’t officially announced any details regarding a potential Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth PC Release Date.
The publisher chose to focus on the title’s PlayStation 5 version. During Summer Game Fest 2023, it was revealed that PS5 players would get to play the title in early 2024.
It then narrowed down the PS5 launch to February 29, 2024 during September’s State of Play showcase, still without any word about a PC release.

The first part of the trilogy was also not initially available on PC, remaining exclusive to Sony’s console for a good chunk of time. It did, however, eventually shed platform exclusivity almost a year after the PS4/PS5 release.
This, of course, makes it likely that Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will also follow a similar trajectory, so we’ll simply have to be patient. Judging by its PS5 launch, it does look unlikely for a PC release date to occur anywhere before the end of 2024.
