Publisher Kepler Interactive and Ashen developer A44 Games today unveiled Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn as their upcoming action-RPG title.
An open-world game, Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn puts players in the role of protagonist Nor Vanek as she fights for humanity’s survival against the gods and their army of undead.
“The Door to the Afterlife has been opened, allowing the old God’s army of the undead to escape from within. The living are on the brink of extinction. It’s time for the coalition army to retake their world,” reads the game’s Steam description.
“Embrace vengeance, gunpowder and magic and embark on an epic journey to lead mankind’s final siege against the tide of the dead.”
Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn’s protagonist is handy with both the axe and gun, while Enki, her strange companion, is capable of using magic to dispatch opponents.
You’ll get to blend them as you discover the game’s “demanding yet rewarding combat system,” chaining together powerful combos.
The title’s open world sees players traversing “desert sands” and “cavernous ruins” as they make their way towards the “towering City of Dawn.”
Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn is expected to launch in 2022 and is headed to PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, and PS4. The title will also be available on Xbox Game Pass on day one. Check out its announcement trailer below.
