When does For Honor’s Year 4 start? Does the Year of Reckoning have a start date? These are two questions on the mind of the multiplayer brawler’s players.
Ubisoft has provided its first details on For Honor’s Year 4 back in December, offering a first glimpse at what’s to come. Here’s everything we know about For Honor’s Year of Reckoning and its start date.
For Honor Year 4 Start Date
Ubisoft has finally revealed the start date of For Honor’s Year 4. The Year of Reckoning officially kicks off with its first season, called “Hope”, on February 6 across all platforms.
“Year 4, Season 1 “Hope” starts as the cataclysm that had been afflicting the world of For Honor seems to be coming to an end. Amidst the chaos and after years of unrelenting war, the Heroes of For Honor will need a new reason to fight. Players will be able to access new lootable armors and weapons, in-game events, and more new content all themed around the new change in the For Honor world.”, Ubisoft said in a press release.
The first batch of details regarding the Year of Reckoning revealed that it will be split into four Seasons, each with its themes, activities and rewards.
Two new heroes will join For Honor’s roster in Seasons 2 and 4, being purchasable using Steel. As part of a series of Battle Pass-related changes, it will no longer be required to obtain new heroes.
Each of Year 4’s Seasons will have its own Battle Pass split into two tracks: Free and Premium. Players will have “clear visibility” of the 100 Tiers that make up each Battle Pass, the associated rewards being earnable through completing matches, Arcade quests and daily orders.
The Free track will contain ornaments, Steel, color swatches, champion status, embossings and more, while the Premium track will feature new signatures, weapons, executions, effects and the likes.
Developer Ubisoft will continue to focus on balancing going into Year 4 and start hosting its own official competitive tournaments every Season. Dominion will be the main mode of these tournaments.
Lastly, players will continue to be able to unlock new content through, sales, scavenger crates, and post-game drops.
