Publisher Curve Games and developer IronOak Games have shared the 2023-2024 roadmap for turn-based RPG For the King 2, giving us a look at the content we can expect to see coming in the following months.
For the King 2’s 2023-2024 roadmap promises to tackle a variety of issues through quality of life updates while also expanding gameplay options in a couple of different ways.
For the King 2 2023-2024 Roadmap
Before 2023 comes to a close, more specifically in December, For the King II will receive its first quality of life update.
A second is then planned to launch at some point in Q1 2024, addressing more issues and hopefully making the whole experience a lot smoother.
The next update on For the King II’s 2024 roadmap is scheduled for Q2 of the year, when we should receive the Infinite Dungeon mode and playable Bards.
As long as things go according to plan, console players will finally be able to finally join in at some point in Q4 2024, sampling all previously released updates and content.
The title’s console release also marks the final step on For the King II’s 2023-2024 roadmap.
Its first major Adventure Expansion is then confirmed to launch in Q1 2025 on all platforms, comprised of a mixture of free and paid DLC.
During all this time, the team behind the game will continue fixing bugs and working on optimization.
That is how For the King II’s 2023-2024 roadmap looks so far. Although smaller than those of other titles, there should be enough reasons for us to revisit the sequel regularly throughout the coming year and beyond.
