Third-person horror survival title Friday the 13th: The Game has kicked off an event that doubles the rewards it gives out to players.
Starting today, December 21, jumping in and playing will get you double XP, CP and tapes. The event will run for two entire weeks, concluding on January 4.
Earlier in June, a legal claim was made which led to the halting of Friday the 13th: The Game’s development. “We’ve now been forced to accept that the lawsuit makes future content for the game, including alternate play modes, new playable Jasons and Counselors, and new maps, unfeasible now or in the future.”, the game’s publisher wrote in a post. It’s no surprise, then, that no additions, festive or otherwise, are coming to the horror title as part of this event.
Friday the 13th: The Game lets you play as either one of six camp counselors, struggling to survive and escape, or several versions of the iconic Jason Voorhees who’s out for blood.
Friday the 13th: The Game is available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
