The 1.1.1 hotfix update for Frostpunk 2 introduces Steam Workshop Integration, making mods accessibility for the community easier to handle. Additionally, the update addresses memory leaks and includes various other improvements.

Frostpunk 2 Patch 1.1.1
Gameplay
- Softblocking by cancelling the construction of the Main district in colonies is not possible now
- Fixed infinite affinity loop exploit upon cancelling district construction after one was started
- Fixed modifiers not being applied properly to newly constructed districts and buildings when loading save files from previous patches
- Fixed cancelling deconstruction of buildings which are being destroyed by factions
Interface
- Redundant ‘Cancel research’ tooltip will no longer be visible in Idea Tree on the ongoing research preview in the top left corner of the screen
- Improved ability cooldown visibility in dark mode
- Moved the faction formation button to a more visible spot
- Fixed district outlines disappearing when some conditions were met
- Fixed Expansion ambition being different for Utopia Builder legacy maps
- Fixed Dark mode prompt from being partially visible in the settings menu
Art
- Fixed delegates duplicating and A-posing in the Council seats upon forming a new faction
- Optimized very low and low graphic settings
- Fixed Survillance Tower searchlight visuals after loading a save file
- Various minor optimizations
Audio
- Implemented missing translations to Chinese voiceovers
- Audio optimizations

- Steam Workshop is now available for mods
- Exclusive Fullscreen window mode support for MacOS (in-game monitor switching TBD and will be delivered in a future patch)
- Fixed memory leak related to extensive Fighting Hub usage between saved game states
- Fixed game not applying proper upscaler on the first launch leading to lower performance than intended
- Fixed Lumen/Reflection artifacts on iGPUs
- Fixed crash related to usage of Asian fonts
