Amid cancellations driven by COVID-19, Gamescom: Opening Night Live 2020 is set to kick off one of the few major industry events that remains to be hosted this year.
Although Gamescom 2020 itself has shifted to an entirely digital format, it will still span three entire days that will likely be chock-full of announcements.
Just like last year, kicking things off is Gamescom: Opening Night Live 2020, a two-hour showcase hosted by Geoff Keighley that will feature a first hefty batch of announcements about upcoming video games. Here’s when and how you can watch it.

Gamescom: Opening Night Live 2020 is set to begin at 11 AM PT/2 PM ET/7 PM BST. During its two-hour runtime, viewers can expect announcements from the following publishers and not only:

Geoff Keighley has noted on Twitter that the showcase will feature more than 35 games, the majority of which have already been announced.
