Gears 5 and Halo: MCC are two of the biggest upcoming Microsoft-backed launches on PC, and given their theme and genre, it was to be expected that some sort of crossover would hit sooner or later. Halo: Reach cosmetics in Gears 5 are happening.
A recent Reddit post has showcased the snazzy Halo: Reach DLC pack in Gears 5, bringing the two universes together, even if only with a tongue in cheek.
According to latest information, it is extremely likely that we’ll have the chance to play Gears 5 before the first part of Halo: MCC on PC - Halo: Reach - is out. With that in mind, Spartans are likely to romp around Gears 5’s multiplayer modes before they get their own up-to-date release.
There’s precious little we know about the Gears 5 Halo: Reach Pack outside of the screenshot above, but we do know that the developers have no intention of monetising the game via loot boxes or a season pass. Cosmetic packs are the logical alternative, of course.
Gears 5 is slated to come out very soon, on 10th of September. Excited?
