Ubisoft has announced that Ghost Recon Wildlands’ Special Operation 3 launches next week on all platforms. The third major update of Wildlands’ second year of post-launch content, it will be available on December 11.
Special Operation 3 comes with a handful of addition, the first of which is Photo Mode. It behaves precisely as you’d expect it to, all down to applying filters and effects to captured images and sharing them online.
A new, themed PvE mission is also making its way into Ghost Recon Wildlands. On the PvP side of things, two new maps and two new Ghost War classes are on their way. It’s worth noting that Year 2 Pass owners will get seven days of exclusive access to the two new classes which become available for non-owners on December 18. Specific details regarding PvE and PvP content will be revealed in the following days, Ubisoft noted.
90 new items will make their way onto the store, while “updates to the Prestige Economy that build upon the changes from Special Operation 2” will also be implemented.
Lastly, PC players will have access to a referral program between December 11 and February 11, 2019, which allows them to earn Battle Crate rewards based on the amount of invited friends who end up purchasing the game. Invitees will also receive rewards.
