If you’ve bravely stepped into the shoes of a shrunken child in Obsidian’s Grounded, you’ll sooner or later want to know where you can find Ant Egg locations.
As with their real-life counterparts, Grounded Ant Egg locations are usually found below ground in anthills. If you’ve explored the map a bit, you’re bound to have noticed the one to the northwest, in an area covered in dry grass.
You’ll know you’re approaching one of the best Grounded Ant Egg locations when the number of encountered worker ants increases. As you close up on the anthill, you’ll also spot soldier ants.
Grounded Ant Egg Locations
While the worker ants around and inside the anthill won’t attack unless provoked, the soldiers won’t take kindly to you regardless of how much you need to find Grounded Ant Eggs.
Thus, you’ll want to not only watch out for soldier ants while exploring Grounded Ant Egg locations but also bring a torch. Antkind has yet to discover electricity and your change in size has only made your eyes smaller.
You’ll have to navigate the tunnels below the anthill until you spot a more open room with white eggs on the ground. Provided you don’t anger the workers and have evaded or killed pursuing soldiers, you can freely loot the Grounded Ant Eggs within.
After returning to base and analyzing them for some rather explosive additions to your crafting list, you’ll have to wait a while before going back to the anthill to pick up another batch of eggs.
If you’re having trouble finding Grounded Ant Eggs, Steam users have found that killing all the ants in and around the anthill, then waiting for 48 in-game hours will trigger their respawn.
