Halo’s Master Chief has been spotted operating in this week’s Major Order for Helldivers 2, taking back control of Heeth, Angel’s Venture, Veld, and Acamar IV for Citizens of Super Earth.
You can take control of Master Chief thanks to ToastedShoe’s new mod, and rid the solar system of Automatons and Terminids scum.
How do you play as Halo's Master Chief in Helldivers 2?
You will need to download the mod from NexusMods, and then use it to replace one variation of the B-01 Tactical armor and helmet.
This mod will also replace the Liberty’s Herald cape, making it invisible. Once downloaded you need to drop the files into your Helldivers 2 directory, so within the following file path: steam library - steamapps - common - Helldivers 2 - data.
Oh, and make sure your character’s body type is set to brawny, or else Master Chief won’t look how he should.
This is the first character skin mod for Helldivers 2 that we’ve seen so far, hopefully, we see more community-created skins soon. It could be a while before we see a new Halo game, although rumours say that 343 Industries began working on a new entry in 2022. Let’s hope it doesn’t get shutdown.
