Bile Spewers are one of the tougher Terminid forces in Helldivers 2 due to their ability to melt your health bar and spawn in packs or with other Terminids. Their range, damage, and armor mean you can easily run into a roadblock when fighting them.
However, to be able to take them down with powerful weapons, you will need to know where to find them. Thankfully, although they are one of the tougher Terminid forces, they are quite common from a high difficulty and up. Here is where you have the best chance of getting them to spawn.
Where to find Bile Spewers in Helldivers 2
Bile Spewers resemble fleas or ticks and are most likely to spawn in Helldivers 2 from Hard difficulty (5) and up. This is the point where tougher Terminid forces start spawning within the region they control. You can find Terminids on lower difficulties, but they become far more common and you can often find them in packs of 2 or 3 from Hard difficulty and up.
If you are struggling at this difficulty, your best shot at getting Bile Spewers to spawn on lower difficulties is by completing an eradication mission. These will ask you to kill several Terminids and spawns a variety of different types, including Bile Spewers.
Tips to kill Bile Spewers in Helldivers 2
When it comes to killing Bile Spewers, you want to use weapons with high armor piercing, or incendiary damage if you have any unlocked. These weapons deal the most damage to Bile Spewers and despite the fleshy skin on their backs, they are quite resistant to regular fire.
Additionally, you will want to target their heads as much as possible as that is still the spot where they take the most damage. Explosives and Stratagems can also make short work of them if you are aiming to bring them down quickly.
Despite being one of the higher-tier Terminids, Bile Spewers in Helldivers 2 aren’t actually that tricky to find or take down. Some high-damage weapons or coordinated fire can easily kill them and the smaller bugs they are often surrounded by when you find them in missions.
