Helldivers 2 took the world by storm, becoming PlayStation’s biggest launch. Despite a fairly rocky launch, the third-person shooter didn’t lose any momentum thanks, in part, to a set of quick updates that laid the foundation of its patch notes timeline.
Helldivers 2’s first couple of patches and fixes were pushed to live servers quickly, first on PC then on PS5, to address pressing issues as swiftly as possible. Read on for the entire patch notes timeline deployed so far.

One day later, patch 01.000.008 made further efforts to improve matchmaking functionality, server optimization, as well as address three of the most common causes for crashes.
On February 15, 2024, patch 01.000.007 fixed and updated Defend events.
February 14, 2024 brought us patch 01.000.006, which further improves general game stability while laying the groundwork for a series of upcoming matchmaking improvements.
In addition, it also resolved connectivity and disconnect issues, while fixing several crashes and addressing a problem with data packing, which could result in higher patch sizes.
On February 12, 2024, Helldivers 2’s patch 01.000.005 went live, addressing issues tied to server capacity and login access while also introducing fixes for a daily progression error and future mission rewards.
Patch 01.000.004 released on February 9, introducing the first set of post-launch fixes. It got rid of several crashes and improved matchmaking functionality as players flocked in droves to blow apart foes.
Helldivers 2’s patch notes timeline is sure to grow over the coming period, as developer Arrowhead Game Studios is in it for the long haul.
Aside from updates and hotfixes that tackle new and remaining problems, free post-launch content is also set to be introduced to the third-person shooter in the future, keeping things fresh.
