Publisher and developer IO Interactive today announced that Hitman 3 will be an Epic Games Store exclusive on PC when it launches next year.
Described as “the dramatic conclusion to the World of Assassination trilogy”, Hitman 3 will continue taking players around the world and letting them figure out what makes its sandbox locations tick. The game is currently slated to release at some point in January 2021.
Hitman 3’s Epic Games Store exclusivity announcement was accompanied by news that the first part of the trilogy, 2016’s Hitman, will be free on the storefront starting with August 27.

The developer also revealed that players who’ve spent time in the trilogy’s previous games will be able to transfer mastery and location carryover from their existing progress into the Epic Games Store version of Hitman 3.
