Publisher Warner Bros. Games and developer Avalanche Software have unveiled the official launch trailer for highly-anticipated action-RPG Hogwarts Legacy, giving us another look at the game’s world before we finally get to play it next week.
Hogwarts Legacy’s official launch trailer sets the stage for the player character’s arrival at the school as a fifth-year student before showing off a handful of the classes we’ll likely get to attend.
It features both interior and exterior locations, some more mystical than others, from the massive rooms of the school itself to cozy inns, mystical caverns, and more.
Also shown off are a variety of characters we’ll meet from professors, to friendly students, and one wizard that’s particularly antagonistic.
We also get a look at the creatures we’ll encounter, which include animated metal guardians,griffins, and armored trolls. The trailer then ends with a rather fiery surprise.
Hogwarts Legacy is slated to launch on February 10, 2023, when it heads to PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5. Last-gen and Nintendo Switch versions are planned to release later during the year.
