Humankind promises a different spin on historical 4X strategy games, that no longer confines players to the civilization they pick at the start of the game. It’s a bold move from developer Amplitude Studios and a good reason to wonder about whether or not the title is coming to Xbox Game Pass in 2022.
Humankind’s presence on Xbox Game Pass or its PC counterpart would help diversify its lengthy game list with a much-needed touch of strategy. It would also provide easier access to one of the year’s notable releases to all players who might be on the fence about a full purchase or may not dabble all that much into 4X.
Humankind Xbox Game Pass for PC
For a long time, there was nothing to suggest that Amplitude Studios’ next title would arrive on Microsoft’s subscription service. A mere week before release, however, the news that Humankind would, indeed, be available on Xbox Game Pass for PC at launch, was shared.
Although it did launch as a PC-only title, Humankind’s console version was announced during 2022’s Summer Game Fest. Slated for a November 4 release, it will also be available on Xbox Game Pass on day one.

The game allows you to create your own civilization by combining traits from more than 60 cultures, bringing a unique twist to the 4X formula.
