Frontier Developments has announced details on what’s coming to Planet Coaster 2 with Update 4, which is launching on April 22nd.
Update 4 introduces restaurants to Planet Coaster 2, allowing you to build and customize them to feed your guests and help them relax.
Restaurants exist for every theme in the game, but you can also create your own by placing down a counter and adding appropriate seating. You’ll also have to take things like food tolerances and other factors into account when running your restaurant.
Another thing coming with Update 4 is the ability to further customize pools, with new options for changing the color of pool water, tiles, and scenery items. Frontier hopes this creates extra creative freedom when it comes to designing your pool areas.
Frontier has also brought back the Scizzer ride from the first Planet Coaster, with new customization options available. De-themed versions of existing coasters, Pearl Rides - Spinning Manic Mouse and Valais & Nidwalden - Inverted – Flying are available.
The next update also comes with some enhancements to the workshop, allowing you to find creations by Featured Creators directly from the menu, as well as explore their pages more easily.
There’s more included with this update, such as new Career Mode maps available in Sandbox Mode, and customization enhancements to Franchise Mode too. Be sure to check out the full update notes over on Planet Coaster’s website.
Planet Coaster 2 Update 4 will launch across all platforms on April 22nd.
