Publisher Electronic Arts and developer Ascendant Studios have announced that magic-driven first-person shooter Immortals of Aveum has locked down its release date to the second half of July.
Described as a narrative-driven FPS, Immortals of Aveum tells the story of Jak a character whose unexpectedly manifesting magical abilities involve him in an endless war for the control of magic.

He joins the Order of the Immortals as a Triarch Magnus, a battlemage capable of wielding all three colors of magic, and fights to end the Everwar, which pits the nations of Lucium and Rasharn against each other.
When Immortals of Aveum’s release date comes around, we’ll get to master the “Red Magic’s concussive blasts, Green Magic’s rapid-fire barrages, and Blue’s long-ranged precision.”
The game launches with more than 25 spells which we can combo together as well as 80 talents to enhance our builds. In addition, we’ll be able to further augment Jak’s powers by finding, crafting and upgrading gear.
