Incarnus Warfare is a classic sci-fi real-time strategy game depicting a realistic war between two superpowers - Herital and Praetorian - on the planet Incarnus.
Solo developer Ludvik Koutny says that he’s aiming to create an immersive realistic RTS that feels like the classics of the golden era of RTS games, so players feel “like they are there, taking part in the war as a commander of a professional military task force”.
Incarnus Warfare will feature base-building and unit combat at a moderate pace, which draws parallels to Tiberium Sun, the third entry in the Command and Conquer franchise - it had slower pace gameplay than all the other games in the franchise. This would be perfect for strategy gamers with little experience.
Herital and Praetorian are the two playable factions battling for control of the planet Incarnus, each with their singleplayer campaigns.
Multiplayer looks to be an option too, with a skirmish mode, local multiplayer, and online multiplayer all being planned for its launch.
The developer seems to be seeking funding, but we don’t know if that’s from Kickstarter or another publisher that can come in and help.
Incarnus Warfare doesn’t have a release date, but we will keep you updated on its progress as it heads for release on the PC via Steam.
