Just Cause 4 is going for the proverbial jugular when it comes to how much craziness developers can shove into their game. We've already gone over some of its wackiest features, but that's not all there is to Just Cause 4!
In Just Cause 4, Rico Rodriguez won't only be facing your regular, garden-variety mooks and their repertoire of armaments. Instead, he will also have to contend with a wicked black ops military unit, the leader of which is about as agile and unpredictable as Rico is.
According to the latest Just Cause 4 press release, the Black Hand are the most powerful opposing faction that Rico has ever faced, and their leader, Gabriella Morales, will stop at nothing to take down anybody who bothers them. Which is to say - Rico, of course.
The trailer hypes the Black Hand quite a lot, as it would seem that Rico and his neck-breaking style of combat won't be enough to deal with them alone. Instead, this is where the game's militia-building features will come in, allowing players to tackle threats that they alone wouldn't be able to deal with.
Additionally, designating Morales as Rico's rival might mean that she, too, can use all the gadgetry that he has at his disposal, and perhaps even her troops, too? We'll have to remain giddy with anticipation until the game's release, which is coming on 4th of December, 2018.
