Just Cause 4 is out now, and players are exploring their new world and blowing up as many Black Hand helicopters as possible. But the only way to advance the game is through squads, so how do you get Just Cause 4 Squads?

Squads are used to push the front line and unlock regions, but the game doesn't make it very clear on the best ways to unlock these squads. We're here to show you how to unlock squads in Just Cause 4!

How to Get Just Cause 4 Squads and Unlock Regions

You have to get squads of resistance soldiers in Just Cause 4 in order to unlock new regions, missions, etc. You can visit all regions freely, but in order to advance the story and get better unlocks you have to push the front lines of your war - and for that, you'll need Squads. But how do you get them?

There are two ways:

• 1. Cause Chaos. This is actually the slowest way to earn Squads, and actually causing chaos doesn't do as much as it does in previous Just Cause games. It's fun, but not as necessary.

• 2. Complete missions. These include side-missions, but the main missions and Region Strike quests are easily the best way to unlock more squads and move into other regions.

  If you want to move through the game, concentrate on doing the Region Strike missions and main missions. You'll advance around the island in no time. Or you could just attach those rockets to that llama and balloon it into that radio tower....
