Kalypso Media is building up steam for a closed beta test run of Railway Empire 2, its railway management simulator, which it says will feature “bigger, more detailed, and lively maps” than the original.
The closed beta is currently due to proceed from the 18th to the 29th of November, with players now encouraged to sign-up at the official website.
Railway Empire 2 Closed Beta Test Phase
There’s a limited number of places available for the closed beta, so only a few applications will be accepted, but those that do will be greeted with a full tutorial and the first campaign mission with up to 6 hours of gameplay. Applications will close on the 6th of November.
“In Railway Empire 2, your journey to railroad domination commences when you take over a small train company in the 19th century. With improved track construction, real-time terraforming, and vast regional maps, there are countless ways to improve your ever-expanding rail network and outdo your competitors.”
Railway Empire 2 is currently set to launch in 2023 for the PC, Xbox Series X | S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch. |
