The launch of Kingdom Come: Deliverance’s second DLC didn’t go all that smoothly. The Amorous Adventure of Bold Sir Hans Capon wasn’t exactly a stranger to bugs, and developer Warhorse Studios today apologized for the Kingdom Come DLC bugs.
They also released a new hotfix today, alongside a previous October patch, to fix some of the DLC’s more glaring issues. Hotfix 1.7.2 removes a crash from the quest In The House Of God alongside several others which occured while Henry was skipping time or serving it in one of Bohemia’s many jails.
“We recently released patch 1.7.2 to fix both Tournament and The Amorous Adventures of Bold Sir Hans Capon. We truly apologize for releasing a bugged DLC, which impacted both playing time and the overall experience. The good news is that you can now enjoy both DLCs to your hearts content. We appreciate your patience as we continue to improve the experience and quality of Kingdom Come: Deliverance.”, developer Warhorse Studios wrote in a newsletter.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance takes place in 15th century Bohemia and provides a realistic RPG experience alongside a good serving of historical accuracy. Its world is modeled after real life locations. Henry, its protagonist, starts off as an unskilled blacksmith’s son and has to learn skills by directly engaging with them. Armor and weapons degrade and have to be repaired, while the clothes Henry wears determine how others react to him.
Just like its DLC, Kingdom Come Deliverance didn’t release in a bugless state back in February, but the team behind it has kept busy releasing a good amount of patches that continued to fix bugs the community brought up.
