Publishers Koch Media and 1C Entertainment have announced their partnership for the release of strategy RPG game King’s Bounty 2.
As a result of their collaboration, King’s Bounty 2 will benefit from both a digital launch and will also be found in retail stores across the globe.
“I am very happy to team up with Koch Media for our upcoming release of King’s Bounty 2 game. I believe that this is a classic example of partnership when the result is much better than just the sum of two parts”, said 1C Entertainment CEO Nikolay Baryshnikov.
Koch Media Co-Publish King's Bounty 2 Alongside 1C Entertainment
In case you’re unaware, King’s Bounty 2 builds upon the foundation introduced in 2008’s reboot and subsequent expansions while taking things in a different direction.
After choosing one of the game’s three playable characters, players will get to explore the world of Antara from a third-person perspective, shifting to the more traditional top-down view when entering turn-based battles.
King’s Bounty 2 will shape its battle arenas after the terrain in which combat is initiated, stepping away from the flat arenas of the previous games.
You can learn more about the game by visiting its Steam page, according to which King’s Bounty 2 is set to launch at some point this year. Aside from PC, it will also arrive on Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch.
