With Season 10 now underway, League of Legends has also kicked off its first event of 2020. Titled Mecha Kingdoms, it brings new skins, missions and rewards, alongside an event shop.
League of Legends’ Mecha Kingdoms event started on January 15th at 11:00 AM PT/7 PM GMT and will end on February 18th at 11:59 PM PT/7:59 AM GMT, giving players a bit over a month to dress their champions up with the new skins.
League of Legends Mecha Kingdoms Event
Like the Night & Dawn event before it, League of Legends’ Mecha Kingdoms event comes with its own Battle Pass.
Players can purchase the Mecha Kingdoms Battle Pass, which comes with 200 Tokens, 4 Orbs, and a special Event Pass Icon, from the in-game store for the price of 1650 RP.
The League of Legends Mecha Kingdoms event introduces a new set of skins bearing the same name for Sett, Leona, Draven, Jax and Garen. The first three heroes’ skins cost 1350 RP, while Jax’s skin is more expensive, going for 1820 RP.
Garen’s skin, being the first Prestige skin of the year, is the most expensive of the bunch, costing 2000 tokens or 100 Prestige points.
Alongside the Mecha Kingdom skins, players will be able to purchase new Guardians of the Sand skins for Janna, Rengar and Ryze, as well as new Dragonslayer skins for Diana, Olaf and Trundle. All six skins cost 1350 RP.
League of Legends’ Mecha Kingdoms event also brings new missions for players to tackle. The first two missions involve playing 30 games, which gets you 45 event tokens and one Mecha Kingdoms orb, and winning a game in a premade group of two or more or playing four games, this second mission rewarding players 15 event tokens upon completion.
More missions will become available as the League of Legends Mecha Kingdoms event progresses. Here’s the rest of purchasable content in the Mecha Kingdoms event:
