Left 4 Dead 3 screenshots are now out and about, circling the Internet - courtesy of Youtuber Tyler McVicker, who has been collecting and corroborating information for close to a year now, according to his latest informative video.
Leaked L4D3 screenshots showcase an environment that's quite unique in the series' context, and tell us that the game was - at least partially - going to be set in a middle-Eastern, perhaps Moroccan environ.
In regard to this latest information, it's worth noting is that the screenshots themselves aren't new by any stretch, with the file meta-data pointing to reference dates from 2013. McVicker notes that the game development of Left 4 Dead 3 was semi-officially canned in 2017, which would mean this particular set of screenshots was created while the game was still deep in development.
Those who were hoping for a more substantial and interesting leak might be disappointed, as the screenshots showcase virtually nothing resembling gameplay of any type. It's just a visual run through what might've been one of the planned Left 4 Dead 3 levels, with nothing particularly curious shown at all.
This set of level screenshots does corroborate previous L4D3 character art leaks, which also pointed towards a markedly middle-Eastern set of characters. Sadly, even if the game is still being worked on in some capacity, it is highly unlikely that the screenshots hold much in the way of relevancy.
