Publisher Bandai Namco Entertainmend and developer Tarsier Studios have released a new trailer for side-scrolling horror game Little Nightmares 2, which features mentalist Derren Brown.
As you can probably tell, the latest Little Nightmares 2 trailer is no conventional gameplay-driven video, although we do get a look at the Pale City and his inhabitants. From the comfort of a leather armchair sitting patiently in the middle of a decrepit room, Derren Brown talks about nightmares.
As he goes through definitions and examples, the footage switches to Mono’s struggle to push through the Pale City, only for some of its unsettling creatures to break out and stand looming over Brown.
It makes for a surprisingly tense three minutes that also act as a welcome reminder of what we’ve got coming our way when Little Nightmares II finally launches on February 11.
The sequel takes place in a new world distorted by a transmission coming from The Signal Tower. It focuses on new main character Mono, which players will control throughout the game, but also sees original protagonist Six returning as a guide.
