Publisher Electronic Arts and developer EA Tiburon are gearing up for the release of Madden NFL 22, the most recent addition to their long-running American football simulator series. The title will be available in multiple editions, if traditional purchases are your thing, but everyone else will want to know if the game is headed to Xbox Game Pass or its PC counterpart.
Madden NFL 22 is one of Electronic Arts’ high-profile releases of the year, aiming to address recent fan complaints by offering deeper staff management and skill trees, among other features. Let’s see if Xbox Game Pass subscribers can check them out.
Madden NFL 22 will, unfortunately not make its way to Xbox Game Pass or its PC counterpart at launch and is unlikely to arrive on Microsoft’s subscription service in 2021.
Its predecessor did eventually make its way to Xbox Game Pass around seven months after release, through the standard version of EA Play. If it follows suit, this year’s entry could also be available on it at some point during the first quarter of 2022.
If you’re adamant about getting access to Madden NFL 22 through a subscription service rather than paying the full price upon release, it will be available on EA Play Pro, like the vast majority of publisher Electronic Arts’ major titles.
Madden NFL 22 is set to launch on August 20 and headed to PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, and Google Stadia.
