The wizarding planes of Arcanus and Myrror are about to experience a magically-mechanical transformation. The Master of Magic: Rise of the Soultrapped expansion will bring a fusion of technology and magic and is set to release on August 28th on Steam.
The major expansion comes after Through the Myrror, the free DLC update from March 2023 that was well received by players. There are a variety of new spellbinding aspects that will be included in Master of Magic’s Rise of the Soultrapped including a new realm, playable wizards, heroes, spells, traits, units, races, and much more.

For the very first time, Techmagic, a new realm can be explored within the Rise of the Soultrapped expansion. Steampunk-like technology and bulky machinery introduce players to the wonders of the arcane and open the doors to a magical world never before explored. The new race, known as the Soultrapped, safeguards a formidable stronghold. Once conquered, this stronghold can yield a bounty of valuable resources.

Master of Magic was created by Polish studio MuHa Games and published by Slitherine. The game immerses players in a highly strategic and enchanting environment, where they command one of 14 distinct wizards aiming to conquer the worlds of Arcanus and Myrror. These wizards lead legions of armies of supernatural creatures including dragons, elves, and orcs, and use robust spells across a dynamic array of magical schools, research dark rituals, and wield unique items.
In the new mystical realm, players will combine tech and magic to uncover undiscovered secrets of the mystical realm. Ancient forces of Arcanuy and Myrror go through perpetual alteration at the awakening of the new power. Players will wield an array of new spells that will combine with technology in fantastical ways.
Master of Magic: Rise of the Soultrapped is due to be released on the 28th August, 2023 via Steam. No price was mentioned for the DLC.
