After a one year delay, MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries has launched on PC and, hot on the heels of its release, the Industrial Reshade mod is available as its first user-made modification.
Aiming for MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries’ visual aspects rather than its gameplay, the Industrial Reshade mod makes for a darker experience that’s quite fitting the overall atmosphere of the title with its war-torn planets and mercenary companies fighting to survive.
MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries Industrial Reshade Mod
As the Industrial Reshade mod’s description puts it, players can expect a “dark grimy reshade for MechWarrior 5, adding darker shadows, truer nights and a demotivating color palette during the day fit for an industrial war across worlds.”

Aside from being the first mod for MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries, Industrial Reshade is also the only one available on Nexus Mods at the time of writing. With the ice broken, more mods will, hopefully, follow in the next days.
