Publisher Toplitz Productions and developer Render Cube today announced that survival RPG Medieval Dynasty has begun its journey through Steam Early Access.
Medieval Dynasty is an ambitious project that aims to mix survival, simulation, RPG and strategy elements into its take on life during the Middle Ages.
Playing the role of a young man who has run away from war, you’re off to a humble start, learning to hunt animals for food and gathering resources needed to craft vital equipment. As you get a hang of how things work, you’ll build yourself a house that can later become part of an entire village.

Medieval Dynasty also emphasizes its family aspect, heirs being important for your blood to persist through multiple generations.
To keep yourself and everything that you build standing, you must endure the hardships of the game’s four seasons, each with its own weather conditions.
You can choose to follow the game’s different questlines or set off to face whichever dangers its open world throws your way, developing your character’s abilities as you perform different actions.
The developers have also revealed a short-term roadmap, announcing the features that Medieval Dynasty will receive in the coming months.
Where Q4 2020 will bring events, challenges, fishing, riding and farming, Q1 2021 will see bandits, pottery, beekeeping and alcohol production added to the survival RPG.
If braving the harsh conditions of the Middle Ages sounds like something you’d fancy, you can follow Medieval Dynasty on Steam.
