Theme-park management tycoons are not a new concept by any stretch of imagination, but aquarium themed ones aren't really a ground well-tread. Megaquarium hopes to fill this niche for a while, coming from the developers of Big Pharma!
Promising a particularly sandboxey approach, Megaquarium will have you manage all sorts of things, including but not limited to finances, guests, exhibit design, and staff themselves. All of this - promises the developer - is set to make for a game that is easy to learn and difficult to master, so what's not to like?
One of the main selling points of Megaquarium will certainly be its rather impressive selection of marine creatures to be featured in player-run exhibits. With the number rising to almost 100 different animals, players will get to choose from a selection of fish, crustaceans, corals, jellyfish, cephalopods, and more!
The developer also promises for the game to focus on the manner in which your exhibits will be created and laid out, because the only way for you to draw people deeper into the aquarium, is for you to keep them interested enough in the fish to get there, as ominous as that might sound.
Of the other assorted intricacies, Megaquarium will also have a full-featured Sandbox mode, a random challenge generator, over 100 different objects and level clutter to toy around with, and lots more! Megaquarium is currently planned to release sometime on 13th of September, 2018, at a price of $24.99.
