Publisher Funcom and developer The Outsiders today announced Dream of the Beast as the first paid DLC for rhythm first-person shooter Metal: Hellsinger.
Slated to release at the end of the month, Metal: Hellsinger - Dream of the Beast adds two new songs to its loud, intense soundtrack. Composed by Two Feathers, the new tracks feature the voices of Cristina Scabbia from Lacuna Coil and Will Ramos from Lorna Shore.

The DLC also introduces a new weapon to the shooter’s devilish, explosive arsenal. The Red Right Hand is a machinegun “forged and fused from parts of heaven and hell,” that allows you to slaughter demons using “short powerful bursts that vary in length.”
Alongside it come three outfits – Angel Eyes, Morning Star, and Dark Devotee – that the Unknown can equip.
Aside from giving the protagonist a new look, each one has its own unique gameplay modifier, like increasing a weapon’s max ammo upon successful quick reloads.
They do, however, replace the passive effect granted by the protagonist’s default outfit.
Metal: Hellsinger - Dream of the Beast is slated to release on March 29, 2023. It will also be accompanied by a free update that adds the Song Selector feature, which lets you choose any available song before setting off to clear a level of its demonic denizens.
