Midwinter Interactive, the studio acquired by Behavior Interactive, is working on a brand new multiplayer Dead By Daylight title.
At the 7th Anniversary celebration for Dead By Daylight, Behaviour revealed two new titles in the hit horror game franchise were in the works. One by Until Dawn creators Supermassive Games, and the other being Midwinter’s game.
Little is known about either game, but there were some details on what kind of multiplayer experience we’ll be getting from Midwinter. 4 players will tackle AI-controlled threats in a new corner of the Entity’s realm, and the theme behind this is greed and lust for power.
I would take this to mean Midwinter’s game is significantly different enough from Behaviour’s one to warrant being its own standalone thing rather than a new mode for the original game. That alone makes this an enticing proposition.
