Mortal Kombat 1 is set to reboot the storied fighting game series, giving its characters a clean slate in a universe created by Fire God Liu Kang. A fresh start could hint towards greater improvements in terms of visual fidelity, raising questions about the title’s system requirements.
Thankfully, MK1’s PC specs have now been officially revealed and they prove to be quite accommodating to older PCs, despite the game only launching on current-gen consoles.
Mortal Kombat 1 System Requirements
An 8th-generation Intel processor or AMD equivalent alongside either an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti, AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT, or Intel Arc A770 is enough to meet the recommended specs.
As opposed to its RAM memory, where 8 GB should prove to be enough to run the title smoothly, MK1’s system requirements list a storage space requirement of 100 GB, making it one of the beefier titles to release this year.
