Mortal Kombat 1 is reportedly the next entry in NetherRealm Studios’ long-running fighting game series, according to a recent leak.
Reputable leaker billbil-kun has revealed that Mortal Kombat 1 is supposedly headed to PC, Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and Nintendo Switch. An official announcement should be coming soon.

The title will be available in three editions. The standard version costs $69.99 on PS5 and Xbox, with its Switch version being priced at $59.99.
The premium one will set you back $109.99, while the Kollector’s edition is the most expensive of the bunch, being priced at $249.99 on PlayStation and Xbox.
NetherRealm Studios Chief Creative Officer Ed Boon previously teased a new title with a video showing a clock’s second arm jumping from 11 straight to 1.

Aside from giving the leak some credibility, this could suggest that the newest entry in the series – which is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year – will reboot its narrative.
If the leak is accurate and Mortal Kombat 1 does end up releasing this year, fighting game fans will have plenty to keep them busy jumping between it and Street Fighter 6.
