New World is still a new game and that means there are very few confirmed theories about what works and what doesn’t. Luckily for all of us, we can freely play around with our builds right up until level 20 using New World’s Respec feature.
Even after level 20, players can reset their New World attributes with escalating coin costs, but by that point, you should already have a good idea of how you want to play.
New World How to Respec Attributes and Skills
This early on you’re unlikely to reach the thresholds for attribute bonuses, but it’s worth keeping them in mind for the future, and remembering that even if you split your points, you can make up the differences with armour and weapons perks.
Weapon Masteries can also be reset, with it being free early on and costing Azoth once you reach level 10 with that weapon. This means it’s a really good idea to respec your weapons early and play around with the different builds before they charge you for the privilege.
If you’re looking to make your own weapons, check out our Iron Ore Locations guide to help locate the materials. If you run into issues with the servers, information on New World server status can be found here.
