Nightingale’s launch has attracted plenty of players eager to explore the strange worlds connected by its arcane portal network. If you plan on adventuring soon, you’ll want to keep track of its server status and when maintenance might take the survival game offline.
Doing so is especially important given how the game’s early access version requires a persistent online connection. Its servers becoming unavailable translates to everyone being unable to play, and you wouldn’t want to schedule a session with your pals only to be met with an error message.
Nightingale Server Status
- Nightingale server status: The Servers will be taken down this afternoon on the 23rd of April at 9 am EDT / 10 am MDT / noon EDT / 4 pm GMT / 3 am AEDT for maintenance to push a new patch update live.
“We’re expecting maintenance to take approximately 1 hour to complete and will provide an update when servers are back online.”
This 0.2 Patch Update includes the following changes:
- Queued crafting
- Craft from storage
- Simple commands for Recruited NPCs
- Three new weapons were added and various existing weapon/tool changes
- Universal dodge
- Two new Bound types and changes to existing Lanternhead/Bombardier Bound
- New NPCs, as well as updated and new quests
- Performance improvements
- Adjustments to resource, clothing, and weapon attributes - now any attribute can be added to any item in crafting
- The ability to purchase Essence Trader wares from the guidebook after discovering them
This will likely be one of many upcoming server status changes for Nightingale. As an always-online title most updates will require some degree of maintenance, bringing the server offline.
Its early access launch wasn’t the smoothest, with some players reporting high ping and general disappointment at the lack of a true offline mode, but improvements have been made.
Nightingale is expected to remain in early access for 9 to 12 months. Hopefully, by the time its full release is deployed, its most pressing issues will be addressed.
