Open world survival RPG Outward has opened its gates to players looking for the experience of being yet another adventurer in a land where deadly beasts, hunger, dehydration and disease are only a few things that try to constantly make life difficult. Although the title does feature a multiplayer component, some players are reporting that co-op is not working.
Here’s all we know about Outward’s multiplayer not working.
Outward Multiplayer Not Working?
<p>
For a portion of players, Outward’s online co-op is currently not working. Reports say that after creating a game with the “open game to friends” setting and choosing a password, guests cannot find said game. Other players have managed to connect to their friends but are encountering frequent disconnects.
Players have, however, discovered a temporary fix for Outward’s multiplayer not working. The solution that seemed to work for a few people involved both players creating an “open to online” game, and attempting to join the other through their Steam friends list.
While the issue doesn’t seem to be particularly widespread, developer Nine Dots Studio has acknowleged it in its Discord server, so chances are that a fix for Outward’s multiplayer not working is on its way.
