The Overwatch Lunar New Year event is returning in 2019 as well, Blizzard has announced. Celebrating the Year of the Pig, the event kicks off next week, on January 24, lasting until February 18.
As a new event means new skins are on the way, the Overwatch social channels will reveal one new skin per day between January 19 and January 24.
This is a perfect occasion for the newer additions to the roster, Wrecking Ball and Anna, to receive some new style options. It’d also be somewhat of a surprise if Roadhog didn’t get any love, as well.
2018’s Lunar New Year event celebrated the Year of the Dog, introducing Capture the Flag as a new playable mode. It remains to be seen whether Blizzard will surprise us with a new mode, shake things up in Capture the Flag, or just offer cosmetics this year.
