The original P.T. demo is finally playable on PC, thanks to the efforts of one Artur Łączkowski who has been quite dedicated to emulating the notorious demo.
The timing behind the release makes things even better, seeing the P.T. demo playable on PC in time for Halloween.
P.T. Demo PC
“So I finally made it. After hard months of work, I want to share with you the emulated and recreated P.T. directly from PS4 to PC. Each of us deserves to experience the scariest game of all time. Play for free now! Happy Halloween!”, a message on Łączkowski’s website reads.
Released back in 2014, P.T. was meant as a teaser for the then-upcoming Hideo Kojima-led Silent Hills game.
The project not only seemed to be on track to refresh the Silent Hill series but also had a fair amount of star power behind it, with Guillermo del Toro and Norman Reedus also being part of the it.
Sadly, Konami cancelled Silent Hills and removed the P.T. demo from the PlayStation Store in 2015.
As the P.T. demo arriving on PC five years later, following the efforts of one person shows, the move didn’t stop fans from doing whatever they can to get to experience the horror and atmosphere of P.T. even years after the project’s cancellation.
