Pagan Online is an upcoming ARPG that's set in a pre-biblical time period, and sees players battling it out against hordes of enemies and ancient colossal gods. Wargaming.net (World of Tanks? Yes, that's correct. We've all seen the adverts on TV) has teamed up with Mad Head Games, who are mostly known for developing hidden object adventure games.
The Pagan Online Release Date is currently set for 2019, but there will be a pre-launch testing period - known as trials - with registration now open at the official website.
Here's everything we know about Pagan Online, including the Release Date, Beta Test Trials, Gameplay, Trailers, Classes, and more.
Pagan Online Gameplay
Pagan Online is set in a demonic dystopia world, which features hack and slash ARPG gameplay that's similar to the Diablo series, and takes place in a pre-biblical time period. The first announcement trailer - we've embedded this below for you - would suggest that there's going to be three main protagonist's in the game, but we can't tell you too much about the classes in the game yet. We do know that it will feature brutal combat, loot, and that there will be magic in the game, along with huge colossal gods to fight with.
"Mad Head Games are passionate, talented, and have a 'go broke' mentality to do whatever it takes to make their game as awesome as it can be," said Jacob Beucler, Product Director, Wargaming. "We’ve taken Mad Head under our wing because this mentality reminds us of the early days at Wargaming when we put everything we had on the line to launch World of Tanks. Pagan Online is one of Wargaming’s most exciting opportunities yet - we’re helping bring these devs’ passion and skill to PC gamers everywhere."
"With Pagan Online we’ve modernized how combat in a top-down action RPG works, taking cues from MOBAs to create something that’s fast-paced, teeming with enemies, and super challenging," said Uros Banjesevic, Co-Founder and Creative Director of Mad Head Games. "It’s a thrill to finally be able to share this game, the product of our blood, sweat, and tears, with the world!"
Pagan Online Classes
Wargaming.net has sent us over three pieces of concept art for Pagan Online, which seems to show the three characters that will be the main protagonist's in the game. What we can tell from these images is that each character will likely have a different class, and we're going to suggest that there will be a Berserker, Blood Mage and Paladin class.
